With over 25 years of award winning designs, Mitchell Barnett leads a team that includes interior design, accounting, project coordinators, CADD operators and construction technicians. With this expertise, Mitchell Barnett Architect, P.C. is capable of providing full service architectural work for projects, both large and small. Our portfolio ranges from high-end custom residences, home remodeling and additions, office buildings, retail centers to high-rise senior living centers. It is our goal to provide the same extraordinary attention to detail to every project, regardless of its size.

Mitchell Barnett A.I.A.,
President and C.E.O.
Mitchell Barnett is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Architecture (Knoxville). As a member of Phi Kappa Phi honorary Society, Mitchell graduated in the top 10 % of his class. The firm, Mitchell Barnett Architect, P.C. began in 1982 providing full architectural services to clients. Since that time, Barnett has designed custom residences, educational facilities, commercial shopping centers, senior living communities, retail centers, recreational facilities and clubhouses, multi-family housing (townhouses and condominiums) and religious facilities. Barnett’s work is diverse and unique and includes projects of different sizes and financial scopes. In step with environmental responsibility, Barnett incorporates "Green" design features in all of his projects. His work has been published countless times and has been built in over seven states and abroad.
Tess Sanford, Project Development Director and Production Manager.
Sanford initially guides clients through the contractual process, continually informs clients of the project status, assists in matching the right contractor to each project, controls the bidding process and assists in guiding the owners through the beginning of construction.
