         Mitchell Barnett, AIA creatively interprets each client's vision and sense of style into a masterpiece of architectural design that is both enduring and beautiful. Seeking creative design projects with more character and soul, Mitchell pursued the niche of highly personalized residential architecture. With every architectural plan, his goal is to interpret the client's desires in an artistic manner that exceeds their expectations. It is the client's vision for their property that is paramount and serves as the springboard to create. Mitchell's work is as diverse as it is distinctive. He has designed custom residences throughout all of Tennessee that range in both scope and genre with massive 25,000-square-foot mansions in grand classical style, authentic French-inspired cottages and striking contemporary estates. At Mitchell Barnett Architect, P.C., we emphasize the individual merit of each project and the opportunity to make a creative statement that pleases our clients and reflects their unique personality.

Christian Blackwell, AIA

Architect
 

Christian, a Nashville native, graduated from Auburn University in 2000 with a bachelors degree in environmental design from the college of architecture.  Post graduation he decided to move to New York state and earned a culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America in 2004.  He then returned to Nashville to become a chef.  Durning this time he was an adjunct college professor at NSCC teaching culinary arts.  After a few years at NSCC, he returned to the architecture world.  He has been a part of the Mitchell Barnett team since July of 2011.  He is currently working towards his goal of taking the ARE test to become a licensed architect.  He resides in Leipers Fork with his wife Emily and thier two children.
